Bailey & Sophie: The New Mr & Mrs Burnett!

At Capture House Weddings, we had the absolute pleasure of capturing the wildly fun wedding of Sophie and Bailey. Friends of friends, their big personalities promised an entertaining day, and their celebration at the always-colourful The Canary Shed in Burnham on Crouch did not disappoint!

From the moment we arrived, we knew this wedding would be one for the books. Sophie and Bailey wanted their photos to capture the day authentically, with a nostalgic film feel. Using direct flash, we brought their vision to life, adding a unique, retro touch to their wedding album.

The ceremony, officiated by their friend Jordan, was wonderfully personal and filled with laughter. Jordan's special touch included giving out football-inspired gifts, adding a playful twist that reflected the couple's fun-loving nature. It was a ceremony that truly embodied Sophie and Bailey's big personalities, with plenty of chants of "oggy oggy oggy, oi oi oi" and even Bailey and Jordan necking Buck's Fizz during the vows!

The weather was as dynamic as the day itself, with every season making an appearance. We experienced rain showers, bursts of sunshine, and even a spectacular double rainbow that added a magical touch to the celebration. It was a testament to the unpredictable yet beautiful nature of their love story.

One of the standout moments was the drone-shot group photo, capturing all their loved ones from a stunning aerial perspective. This unique shot added a modern flair to their collection of memories, perfectly complementing the nostalgic vibe they desired.

The reception was a musical delight. Music from their friend Shaun Colwill set the tone, and Bailey’s own band, The Darlings, took the stage and sent guests into a joyous frenzy. Their performance was electric, showcasing Bailey's musical talent and adding a deeply personal element to the festivities. Following this, a lively DJ set kept everyone dancing late into the night, ensuring the celebration ended on a high note.

As the evening unfolded, the beer pong table became a hotspot of laughter and competition, adding to the relaxed and fun atmosphere. The wedding breakfast featured the classic and beloved fish and chips, while the evening food was out of this world—Waffle and Co served up a variety of chicken and waffles and sweet waffles that were a hit with everyone.

Adding to the evening's fun, a tattoo bar offered guests the chance to get temporary tattoos that matched Bailey and Sophie’s actual tattoos, creating another layer of personal and memorable touches. As the sun set, the boys indulged in cigars, making for some cool, film-inspired images that captured the essence of the day. The drinks flowed, confetti flew, and laughter echoed throughout the venue. Sophie and Bailey’s wedding was a whirlwind of joy, music, and unforgettable moments. We were thrilled to be part of their special day and to document such genuine joy and excitement.

Every detail of the wedding was meticulously planned to reflect their unique style and vibrant personalities. From the intimate ceremony to the exuberant reception, it was a day filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Congratulations to the wonderful couple, Bailey and Sophie Burnett! We loved capturing your incredible day and wish you endless happiness and cherished memories in your future together.
